he City of La Feria improvement project includes the installation of 773 square yards of new 5-foot-wide reinforced concrete sidewalks with wire mesh, supported by 773 square yards of compacted sand base and 17 ADA-compliant ramps. Pedestrian safety will be enhanced with 6 painted crosswalks, 6 crosswalk signs, and 2 solar-powered LED signs. The project involves removing 549 SY of existing pavers, 104 SY of concrete sidewalks, 590 SY of asphalt driveways, and 262 SY of concrete driveways. Roadway upgrades include 262 SY of concrete driveway adjustments, 590 SY of asphalt restoration, 16 SY of road repair, 432 linear feet of valley gutter repair, 31 LF of curb extensions, and 101 SY of crosswalk asphalt restoration. Utility improvements feature 1 sewer manhole collar adjustment and 3 water valve collar adjustments.
