A. Contract Goals: 1. To benefit children by increasing parents’ and caregivers’ emotional & financial support; 2. To strengthen co-parenting relationships; 3. To promote parenting skills; and 4. To provide practical child welfare system navigation skills. B. Classes are provided by the Contractor over a 10-week cycle using an agreed upon curriculum approved by DFPS Regional Director or designee, after Contract Award. C. Contractor will provide class schedules and class participant enrollment information to DFPS at least two weeks before the class is scheduled to begin and as requested by DFPS. 1. Class sizes must have a minimum of five participants and a maximum of 25 participants. DFPS maintains the right to review the class sizes and schedules and DFPS must approve modifications to class size and schedules which includes, but is not limited to: a. Class location changes; b. Class enrollments; and c. Class time changes. D. Contractor will maintain contact with participants for the duration of their participation in the training. E. Contractor will provide any ad hoc reports updated during the 10- week cycle to include: 1. Attendance logs; 2. Absent Participants and the reasons the participants missed the session(s); 3. Make-up Training Schedule to include dates and times; and 4. Any other DFPS requested reports pertaining to class participation. F. Contractor will provide certificates upon graduation date. Certificates can be provided via hardcopy or electronically. This is determined after contract award and approved at the discretion of DFPS. G. Contractor cannot charge clients fees for participating in a training or for any training participation-related costs.
