Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide the Mothers and Babies™ (MB) training (virtual or in person) for approximately 160 participants for a minimum of three cohorts; provide for a minimum of one train the trainer cohort (virtual or in person) for approximately 50 participants; and provide Fathers and Babies supplemental training via online modules for approximately 75 participants. Not to exceed 60 participants per training cohort unless approved by DFPS. Provide training on the three key components that can help prevent maternal depression: Focus on the types of mental behavior mothers engage in (such as, thoughts). Efforts to increase pleasant activities that a mother can do (for example, by herself, with baby or others). Focus on the type and frequency of personal contacts. Provide pre-training activities, direct training, as well as implementation support such as consultations and evaluation support. Participants will understand and be able to implement the MB Course sessions including delivering the key points of the session to the client through use of: The script provided in the manual to guide content delivery. Interactive learning activities they can conduct with clients to help clients understand concepts. Introducing personal projects for clients to practice between sessions in order to facilitate retention and individualization of the material
