The City will select Respondent(s) demonstrating proficiency in preparing design documents and reports, construction contract documents, cost estimates, construction of a fire station with the following general requirements: 3.1.1 Approximately 9,000 to 11,000 square feet (SF) in size 3.1.2 Three bays including 3 overhead doors at the rear and 3 Bi-folding doors at the front 3.1.3 Building shall be bolt up or weld up steel, with R-panel metal sheathing and stone or faux stone on three sides, or CMU/masonry in lieu of R-panel. 3.1.4 Four or five bunkrooms, approximately 100 SF in size each 3.1.5 Mechanical and equipment rooms 3.1.6 Kitchen 3.1.7 Laundry room 3.1.8 Front entry foyer with access control 3.1.9 Day room/dining room open floor plan 3.1.10 5 bathrooms w/shower/toilet/lavatory and 1 ADA/TDLR bathroom with toilet, lavatory, and shower 3.1.11 Other facilities consistent with a typical municipal fire station. 3.1.12 Depending on final scope and budget of the project, an interior training room and an exterior training facility may be included in the project.
