Covered equipment: • Biorad Automated Droplet Generator, SN # 773BR2898 and 773BR2861 • Biorad QX200 Digital PCR Reader, SN # 771BR8771 and 771BR8788 • Biorad C1000 Touch PCR System, SN # CT058568 and CT058574 • Biorad PX1 PCR Plate Sealer, SN # 770BR7584 and 770BR7526; Purchase is requested to ensure continued service maintenance of existing equipment necessary to ensure continued patient testing and peak performance by preventing any unnecessary downtime of equipment due to faulty maintenance. This purchase is also necessary to avoid useless spending of government funds by reducing the chances of expensive service calls. Furthermore, this contract is required to validate and maintain equipment per CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988) and CAP (College of American Pathologists) requirements.
