Specifications include, but are not limited to: Administrative Create, maintain, and administer budget for the festival including all festival expenses. Source and hire all festival personnel and third party contracted entities (see bullet below for breakout) Create and execute contracts for all festival personnel and third party contracted entities, including but not limited to artists and performers, production staff, technical staff, front of house staff, project managers, caterers, security, festival venues, insurance providers, printers, graphic designers, photographers, etc. Pay all expenses relating to the festival except artist fees (to be paid directly to artists by Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts) Create and maintain scheduling for all personnel and third party contracted entities involved in the festival. Research, negotiate, secure, and submit payment to all festival venues including festival headquarters venue. Provide expense reimbursement for approved artist needs during the festival Obtain event insurance for the festival, as needed Artistic Work with Mitchell Center director to negotiate and plan artists and activities for the festival. Create and maintain schedule of show and installation dates and times.
