Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The SaaS must be developed/supported by a firm with a strong track‐record utilizing CRM tools in conjunction with higher education organizations with a proven ability to increase student inquiries, application levels, and successful admission. SRSU prefers proposals from companies with at least three years of direct experience with CRM technology specific to higher education and a thorough understanding of all aspects of best practices in the recruitment/admission process. 2. The SaaS must interface with the institution’s Ellucian Banner ERP system. SRSU prefers responses from companies that have existing/established, regular interfaces with Banner systems at a minimum of five colleges or universities. Vendors must demonstrate their Banner ERP technical expertise and their willingness to initiate communication with the Office of Information Technology and appropriate Enrollment Management staff to establish protocol that will ensure the successful and efficient transfer of data between Banner and the Vendor’s CRM system. The more seamless automation that can occur between these two systems, the better. 3. The SaaS CRM must provide a suite of services and products that will assist the University with its recruitment efforts: These services and products should include a protocol for the inclusion/incorporation of the Apply Texas Application (complete and partial) into all CRM services/capabilities. Services and products must also include user‐friendly print, email, and text capabilities optimized across a wide spectrum of devices including laptops, desktops, mobile telephone varieties and tablets. Email templates must be contemporary and responsive in design. 4. The SaaS CRM must provide data scrubbing (Common Matching) to maintain data integrity of our databases. 5. The SaaS CRM must provide text messaging capability. If this service is not provided, information regarding clear alternatives from a third party carriers must be provided.
