The selected firm shall provide professional engineering services that include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: 24.1 Assessment of Existing Infrastructure and Practices 24.1.1 Review existing lift station designs, standard drawings, and operational data. 24.1.2 Interview City staff to identify recurring issues, needs, and preferences. 24.2 Development of Design Criteria 24.2.1 Define standards for site layout, structural design, pump sizing, wet well configuration, electrical and control systems, SCADA integration, odor control, and safety features. 24.2.2 Address bypass pumping provisions, standby power requirements, and telemetry standards. 24.3 Regulatory and Industry Compliance Ensure guidelines conform to applicable regulations and standards, including TCEQ, EPA, OSHA, and City of Laredo specifications.
