Specifications include, but are not limited to: Covenant Children’s and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (Texas Tech Physicians –Psychiatry) have opened the region’s first outpatient relational health center at Covenant Children’s hospital in Lubbock, Texas in August of 2023. The comprehensive unit will provide care for an estimated 3,200 patients per year and provide approximately 10,600 outpatient appointments. The relational health unit will enable caregivers to see patients between the ages of 2 and 20, and their families, for behavioral health concerns. The unit will provide pediatric patients in West Texas and eastern New Mexico with mental health services. TTUHSC's Department of Psychiatry’s children’s services will be relocated to the unit. They will make assessments, and provide an outpatient therapy program. That program will have individual, group, medication management, and parentchild interaction therapy. The new services will include: An Intensive Outpatient Program, which will give a more intensive, structured, outpatient services for children who are not responding to traditional outpatient services alone or are being stepped down from a partial hospitalization program. A Partial Hospitalization Program, which is a day treatment program for children either at risk for inpatient hospitalization, are being discharged and stepped down from psychiatric inpatient care, or need more intensive services than are provided in the traditional outpatient setting. Project Deliverables: The TTUHSC School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Contractor(s) to provide expertise to support TTUHSC in strategically designing the administrative structure and staffing of the comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services at the Relational Health Center. The Contractor(s) will be engaged to provide the deliverables outlined and described below. Deliverables Year 1 (April 1, 2024 - March 31 , 2025) 1. TTUHSC trauma and grief provided services inventory. 2. Identification and recommendation of additional TTUHSC best practice trauma and grief service offerings. 3. Lubbock regional needs assessment of trauma and grief services to formalize informed implementation planning. 4. Document service delivery and reimbursement best practice implementation and implementation issue resolution. Deliverables Year 2 (April 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026) 1. Implementation support consulting services. 2. Targeted research focused on implementation barriers with associated resolution recommendations.
