Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Berkeley is soliciting written proposals from qualified firms or individuals that are interested in theevaluation of a project to increase access to healthy foods through small-scale stores near 3 Berkeley MiddleSchools and 1 High School. Through this Request for Proposals, up to $50,000 will be available for an agency, or an individual over the projectperiod of two years, to develop an evaluation plan, and measure outcomes for a two-year pilot program. Thetimeline begins effective immediately and the project period ends October 2009. Our overall evaluation goal is todocument the process and tools used to implement the project and its effectiveness in providing healthier food itemsand the selection of those items so that analysis and tools are available to replicate the project in other stores inBerkeley and beyond.Responsibilities include:Develop and implement comprehensive evaluation design to measure efficacy and impact of program·Develop necessary evaluation tools, collect and analyze data and write reports·Work with staff to develop nutrition criteria for selected recommended items to corner market stor
