The project scope would consist of design for a series of local detention ponds that would perform simultaneously to mitigate the 100-year flood event. The design would include a design summary report to anticipate and record basic project information. This report would identify the risk for the project including the existing conditions, geotechnical and environmental permitting, community relations, and cost and schedule. Additionally, the design will include a hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis update of the Concepcion Creek Project area to re-establish existing conditions as well as update and confirm the ponds in series meets local design standards. This phase of the project will also include a no adverse downstream impact analysis, provide 40% design plans, evaluate property acquisitions, and update the opinion of Probable Construction Costs (OPCC) for the local detention facilities.
