Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected Respondent (the “Contractor”) will conduct a compensation study of the BON’s current salaries for its current positions compared to current market-based salary information from other state agencies and the private sector for comparable positions (the “Services”). The BON currently uses the Texas State Auditor’s Salary Schedule as a benchmark in determining the appropriate salary level for each of its job categories. The BON currently has 120 employees in 53 separate job classifications.; The Services shall consist of a market analysis of each position’s salary, including the related salary range, as compared to the salary range paid in the private sector and in other state agencies with comparable job titles/descriptions. Alternatively, if it is more cost-saving to the agency, the BON may reduce the scope of the study to focus on at least ten (10) groupings of positions within the agency; Cybersecurity Training. If the Contractor has access to any state computer system or database, Contractor shall complete cybersecurity training and verify completion of the training program to the Board pursuant to and in accordance with Section 2054.5192 of the Government Code.
