Specifications include, but are not limited to: This solicitation is to find providers who shall deliver high quality, convenient, cost effective and comprehensive career training to equip entry level truck drivers with the skills necessary to obtain their Class A or B CDL License from the State of Texas Department of Transportation. Training to receive Tanker and Hazmat endorsements is also required. Bidders shall provide a detailed Commercial Driving License program that is designated to teach students the skills and abilities to safely operate a trailer on rural, city streets, highways, and under various weather conditions. Training facilities shall reside within Travis County and be awarded based on meeting requirements, pricing and per quadrant of Travis County (map attached). BID PRICES: The trainings in this IFB include multiple items grouped per each of the 4 quadrants of Travis County as shown on Appendix A. Bidders need to bid based in which quadrant of Travis County their training facility resides in. A vendor will be awarded per quadrant.
