Specifications include, but are not limited to: This RFP is requesting services for telecommunication services that include Category 1 WAN Services with Direct Fiber Optic Ethernet Links connecting all eligible EPISD sites, in a simple point-to-point topology to the EPISD Data Center. Vendors must have obtained or applied for a Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and provide it or certification of application as part of their response. Vendors must also agree to comply fully with all E-Rate program rules and regulations. The selected vendor (s) must be prepared to implement the request for services during the E-Rate funding year or years that funds will be available to the District and should demonstrate knowledge and experience in dealing with E-Rate funded projects. The vendor should keep in mind the ongoing sustainability to the District of projects they are proposing. It is also understood that the commencement of all projects are contingent upon E-Rate funding, the availability of District funds, and approval by the District Board of Trustees.
