Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of services provided by the Vendor under this RFP shall be the supply of an Access Control Systems, including delivery, installation, necessary training for Owner’s personnel, and warranty services as specified for four general types of projects: 1) New Construction, 2) Renovation Construction, 3) Parts Procurement, and 4) Service and Maintenance. The University of Houston has a significant investment in Electronic Security Systems which includes Lenel Access Control (PACS) System, DSC Intrusion, Pelco Video Management, Dormakaba (Best) Basis G Offline/WiQ wireless locks, and Eyelock (iris authentication) devices. The University welcomes all Access Control System Integrators to bid on this RFP and has decided to open this request to all OEM’s to respond. The response will be based on interoperability with current electronic security technologies. The cost of material, engineering/design services, shop drawings, basic warranty, software changes as required (as defined in this document), startup and labor cost for installing the complete and operable systems shall be included in the prices as described herein. The university is looking for a wireless WiFi solution which should include BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and/or Near Field Communication technology to support access credentialing for interior doors. This project may be awarded to multiple vendors at the discretion of the University of Houston (see EXHIBIT H).
