Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide secure, reliable, and timely courier services between the CCRTA’s Bear Lane location and Leopard Street location, its depository bank, and its Harbor Ferry location. 1. Year-round Service: The contractor shall supply year-round pick up and delivery, Monday through Friday, excluding bank holidays. Contractor will pick up deposit bag(s) daily between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM from the CCRTA Administration Building located at 5658 Bear Lane, and deliver bag(s) to the CCRTA’s depository bank, currently Wells Fargo Bank Vault located at 615 N. Upper Broadway, by 3 pm. CCRTA anticipates a monthly average of about 152 plastic fed-ready bank bags to be delivered to its bank. The following is an approximate daily expectation of bags: Monday 8 bags Tuesday 8 bags Wednesday 6 bags Thursday 5 bags Friday 8 bags Contractor shall supply year-round pick up and delivery on Fridays between 8 AM and 12:00 PM, excluding bank holidays for the Leopard Street Facility located at 1024 Leopard Street, Suite C, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401 and deliver to the CCRTA’s depository bank, currently Wells Fargo Bank Vault located at 615 N. Upper Broadway, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401 by 3:00 PM. 2. Seasonal Harbor Ferry Service: Should the CCRTA choose to operate its seasonal Harbor Ferry service and have Contractor provide courier services, Contractor shall collect deposit bags and drop off deposit bags at the vessel docking location on each schedule pickup day as described below. Contractor will deliver such deposit bags to the CCRTA Bear Lane facility on the next scheduled Year Round Service trip. The typical time frame for this seasonal service is one week during spring break, and Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. The CCRTA will notify Contractor in reasonable advance time to schedule such services each season. The CCRTA reserves the right to change service dates and times and will supply sufficient prior notice to the Contractor. In such cases, Contractor shall attempt to accommodate CCRTA’s scheduling needs. Operating Hours are: • March 14, 2015 thru March 22, 2015 - Saturday thru Sunday (12:00 PM – 7:00 PM) • May 23, 2015 thru September 7, 2015 - Seven (7) days per week (12:00 PM – 7:00 PM) Pickup Days and Timeframe: Twice a week pickup on Mondays and Thursdays between the hours of 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM (1) Contractor will remain flexible for unexpected changes in scheduling due to Harbor Ferry down days caused by inclement weather conditions or mechanical failures. CCRTA shall notify Contractor at least 2 hours in advance or at a reasonable time of such events for a particular day. (2) Currently, the vessel is docked at the People’s Street T-Head. Corpus Christi Marina Slip P-052 located at seawall will be the pick-up location of the canister. The CCRTA, in collaboration with the Harbor Ferry Service provider, may change the dock location, in which case, CCRTA will provide advance notice to Contractor. 3. As-Needed Service: Contractor must maintain the flexibility and the ability to supply additional courier services on an as-needed basis at the request of the CCRTA. The CCRTA anticipates seldom, if any, use of this option. CCRTA will supply Contractor with minimum of 24 hours advance notice of need for additional services beyond the Year Round Service and Seasonal Harbor Ferry Service provisions. It is understood by the CCRTA that the Contractor does not provide its services on either on Christmas or Easter holidays without additional charge. 4. Cancellation of Services: CCRTA reserves the right to cancel services if not needed for a given day. Advance notice shall be supplied to Contractor no later than 24 hours before the scheduled “Year Round Service and no later than 2 hours prior to the Harbor Ferry Service.
