Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Fort Worth, Police Department is in the process of analyzing municipal jail service options, including but not limited to, the evaluation of both short-term and long-term operational cost associated with contracting municipal jail services in full versus the Citys start-up and annual cost of leasing, renovating and operating an existing Local Development Corporation-owned facility located within the city limits of Fort Worth. As such, the City is requesting proposals for consulting services to determine the financial feasibility associated with operating a municipal jail to serve the City of Fort Worths current and future needs, as well as, identify alternative financially feasible options.
