Specifications include, but are not limited to: The new Midland County Jail will be an 800-bed, approximately 230,000 square feet building located at CR 110 and CR 1140 in Midland County, southeast of the City of Midland, Texas. The building will include medical, food service, laundry, commissary, warehouse, intake/holding, release, public/visitor and other support spaces including administrative offices. Building construction will include but is not limited to concrete foundations, load bearing and non-load bearing walls, precast concrete planks, pre-engineered and conventional structural systems, site work, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, fire protection systems, security systems, detention equipment, and food service equipment.
