Specifications include, but are not limited to: Proposals are requested by the City from firms qualified to provide a comprehensive classification and compensation study, and to provide recommendations to ensure the Citys classification and compensation system supports the Citys mission and strategic objections as a service based organization. The City desires that the successful proposer shall conduct a comprehensive compensation data collection/survey of external labor market(s) for all city positions and make recommendations for changes to current classification systems, or for adoption of a newly designed classification and compensation system, to ensure both internal equity and external competitiveness. The successful proposer shall make recommendations on classification and compensation structures, City policies and guidelines, and modifications to rectify internal inequity issues.
