SOLICITAITON: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Norfolk (FLCN), Regional Directorate, intends to solicit and award a sole source, firm fixed priced contract to Strategic Technology Institute IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source reasonably available, in support of Command, Naval Air Force Reserve (CNAFR) to provide support services for the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS). The support encompasses system management, operations, administration, maintenance, training, and overall technical expertise required to operate and maintain the NALCOMIS in a Virtual Environment (VE). The anticipated period of performance is to start as soon as possible for 12 months. A sole source justification has been prepared and approved by the Small Business Professional; however, the justification is not required to be posted. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
