Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Celina is soliciting Statements of Qualifications and proposals from qualified construction firms to provide Construction Manager-At-Risk Services, necessary for the construction of the new Parks administration building. This work will include working closely with the architect and building owner in making preliminary design selections of construction methods, building materials, interior lighting and electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire safety and operational systems to obtain a sound and reasonable budget. Construction will include minor civil site work, sidewalks, exterior lighting, landscaping and irrigation for adjacent park area and signage. Building construction will include new facade design and renovating the building exterior walls and interior walls per architect's approved plans, including additional building foundation and underground utilities, building plumbing, mechanical, electrical and lighting, data / low voltage, audio visional and access control installations to meet City Standards and 2021 IBC 2023 NEC and local codes. Construction also includes relocating fire suppression and alarm as needed to meet Codes. CMAR will oversee all subcontractors to verify design and construction codes are adhered to with additional site supervision needed and knowledge of Procore construction management software. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposals (RFP). This RFP provides interested firms with the information necessary to prepare and submit their qualifications, general conditions pricing, and fee for consideration.
