The Innovation Lab will be a beacon for innovation on the campus, providing students and faculty with a dedicated space to explore, experiment, and create new ideas and technologies. It will offer spaces for independent creation, collaboration, interdisciplinary connection, and research. The new facility will include creative spaces with supporting technology for individuals and teams, as well as a maker lab for rapid prototyping and testing of ideas. Located between the College of Business and the College of Engineering, the Innovation Lab will support research programs in both colleges and serve as a home for the growing neuroscience program. The project will house new labs for virtual reality (VR), supporting investigation, content creation, and the use of VR as a learning tool.
