Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of Austin (City), seeks bids in response to this solicitation to establish a contract with qualified Vendors (Contractor) experienced in the inspection, maintenance, repair and installation of security equipment access control and monitoring systems. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and necessary equipment for the proper execution of each inspection and maintenance service detailed in this specification. The security equipment for this contract is located at Austin City Hall and other City facilities. This contract will support the Building Services Department. The City reserves the right to add or delete departments, locations, and security equipment as deemed necessary. Security equipment added to the contract shall coincide with the expiration of their warranty period, and shall be mutually agreed to between the Contractor and the City. The Contractor may be required to work on security equipment still under warranty in an emergency situation. Any services that have been omitted from this scope of work which are clearly necessary or in conformance with normal security equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair services shall be considered a requirement although not directly specified or called for in the scope of work.
