The Harris County Department of Education is currently accepting proposals from service providers qualified to provide Contracted Services for college and career readiness initiatives, activities, or programs that can be administered as afterschool, summer and enrichment opportunities for youth. Services must integrate college and career readiness activities or other learning objectives into the vendor’s content area of expertise. Services can support youth in grades K-12 and/or their respective adult/family members. Vendors must be able to provide their services as par t of or in con junction with an out-of-school time program which can include summer camps, school-age childcare centers, school district campus programs, parks and recreation programs, community centers, and college/university campuses located in the Harris County geographical boundaries.
