Products and services covered under this contract may include modifications, retrofits, enhancements, installations, repairs, and maintenance of safety, operational, and accessibility systems for school buses and other passenger‑transport vehicles. Work may include both factory‑authorized and aftermarket installations, as well as related materials, components, software, technology updates, and system integrations necessary for full functionality, compliance, and long-term operability. Services and systems may include, but are not limited to: Alternative Fuel Conversions– Conversion of buses from diesel to compressed natural gas (CNG) or renewable natural gas (RNG) Bus Extension Arms and Accessibility Enhancements – Installation of stop-arms, crossing arms, wheelchair lifts, ramps, automatic doors, or other features to improve accessibility and safety. Fire Suppression Systems – Installation of automatic or manual fire‑suppression equipment in engine compartments, under‑carriage, passenger areas, or other high-risk zones. GPS Tracking, Routing, and Telematics Systems – Implementation of real-time vehicle tracking, route optimization, driver performance analytics, and fleet-management monitoring. Onboard Video and Surveillance Systems – Provision and integration of interior and exterior video recording systems, driver-monitoring cameras, and associated software. Passenger Connectivity Upgrades - Installation of onboard Wi‑Fi networks and passenger charging outlets to enhance energy efficiency and rider convenience.
