Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Fort Worth Independent School District is seeking providers of Broadcast Video Production Services to conceive, write, field produce, direct, operate and maintain video cameras, sound equipment, and non-linear edit systems associated with the production of live and recorded video/audio content for internal and external use. The provider will be skilled and experienced in all aspects of video production. Specialization in one or more of the video production components (videography, non-linear editing, producing, writing, directing, broadcast engineering) preferred but not required. At least five years of news and/or production experience is desired. REQUIREMENTS Highly conceptual thinking and writing skills. Must be an outstanding storyteller. A strong knowledge and ability to manage the editorial process from beginning to end. Resource and time management skills a necessity, deadline oriented. Effective communication skills with internal and external clients a must. Working knowledge of digital video cameras, non-linear editing and adobe premiere, field producing, creative writing and post-production process. Experience in live studio production desired. Full grasp of industry practices a must. Keen sense of graphic design composition, music and sound design. Ability to direct shoots if needed, participate in casting, location, wardrobe selection and art direction.
