Specifications include, but are not limited to: Fort Bend County, Texas (hereafter referred to as the (“County”) seeks proposals (“Proposals orRFP”) for the procurement of one (1) or more broadband network providers to deploy broadbandconnectivity in Fort Bend County with a focus on the priority areas identified in Exhibit A. In thisPhase 1, FBC would like to address unserved/underserved areas in Needville, Kendleton, Simontonand Thompsons. Should additional areas (Phase 2) need servicing in the future, a new solicitationwill be formally advertised.The County intends to contract with the vendor(s) who shall detail the ability to design, build, install,own, operate and manage the network.
