Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is soliciting bids for boat storage space of approximately 1100 total square feet located within close proximity to the City of Crockett, Texas, in Houston County. Facility should be located within 13 miles of a public boat ramp and Houston County Lake to allow for quick access for emergency response in accordance with the following specifications. 1.1. Storage space shall meet or exceed the following: A. Storage space of approximately 1100 total square feet. 1) Three (3) side-by-side storage spaces preferably with open-contiguous floor plan. 2) Shall not be susceptible to flooding in severe weather conditions. 3) Minimum height of ten (10) feet 4) Approximate width of twelve (12) feet 5) Approximate depth of thirty (30) feet 6) Dimensions are to ensure clearance of vessels when backed into facility. 7) Lockable bay door a. Minimum height of twelve (12) feet b. Minimum width of twelve (10) feet c. Doors should be functional (able to open) during power outages B. Interior space shall have a minimum of one (1) 110-volt duplex power outlet on the interior of at least one wall. Location of outlets to be approved by TPWD at no additional cost to the agency. a. Wiring with adequate amperage capable of simultaneously powering overhead lights and power outlet(s) running small hand tools. b. Overhead lighting that uniformly illuminates storage spaces. 1.2. Flooring shall consist of concrete capable of supporting heavy vehicles, boats, trailers, and equipment. 1.3. Driveway and apron shall be capable of supporting heavy vehicles and trailers and to accommodate ingress and egress of vessels in all weather conditions. 1.4. Adequate drive and apron for ingress, egress and turn-around of vehicles towing vessels on trailers. Dimensions are approximately twelve (12) feet high and twenty-four (24) feet wide by eighty (80) feet long from front of truck to boat motor. 1.5. Surveillance cameras with 24-hour continuous monitoring or recording.
