FABRIC SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS A. Type of Finished Fabric - Shirting - 100% cotton 0.80 pounds to 0.85 pounds per LYD 62” width, to be finished at 60” width (+/- 1”) B. Material shall be bleached optical white and preshrunk to a soft hand, non-resin finish with acceptable shrinkage of 4% to 6% after three home laundries. C. Acceptable yardage loss due to finishing process is 5% to 8% for shirting fabric. D. Finishing Plant shall bill “seconds” at ½ the finished price. Finishing Plant and Estelle Unit Textile Mill will determine finishing process. E. Each individual roll of fabric shall be labeled with the lot number, weight, and yardage assigned by the Estelle Unit Textile Mill. F. All fabric shall be packed in rolls not exceeding 300 yards for 60” shirting fabric. G. The dimensions of the re-roll tubes shall be a minimum of 2.265” ID X 62” Width X .250” Wall. H. All paper tubing shall be saved and returned to Estelle Unit Textile Mill with finished bleaches or cloth.
