Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of work TTUHSC desires to select Contractor(s) for various service areas through this solicitation. TTUHSC reserves the right to select one or more firms that are determined to have specific experience and service locations. Proposers should communicate in their response if they are available to work at the various regional TTUHSC locations and TDCJ locations. Section 6 entitled Pricing, Location, and Delivery Schedule is included in this RFP to facilitate identification of locations where Proposer is available to perform Services. The Contractor(s) will be required to provide service for all or a portion of approximately 1088 pieces of equipment. In addition, TTUHSC has various services agreements for other equipment that may be included in the Services. A listing of equipment is provided as Appendix F of the RFP. Appendix F should be considered an accurate list of TTUHSC equipment, however, the listing is subject to change including increase or reduction following confirming physical inventory. Respondents as asked to consider the requirements in 5.4.1 and 5.4.2. Responses to one or both of the service program options is acceptable. PROGRAM OPTION #1 5.4.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR A MANAGED BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES PROGRAM: A. Provide full service coverage of applicable equipment. B. Provide a program that allows for equipment to be added and removed from the management program when a cost effective alternative is identified. C. Provide preventative maintenance on the biomedical equipment which follows the manufacturer specifications and frequencies. D. Provide repairs on equipment per program repair contract. E. Documentation of all work in accordance with manufacturer and TTUHSC specifications, with electronic access provided to TTUHSC designated managers. F. Provide consultation and assistance to departments on selection, replacement, or repair of biomedical equipment. G. Provide consultation and assistance in the selection and contracting for service and maintenance for other related equipment or services. PROGRAM OPTION #2 5.4.2 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR AS-NEEDED BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES: A. The Contractor shall furnish all transportation, labor, supervision, supplies, materials and equipment required to complete the Services B. The Contractor must have 24-hour answering service and work order processing system for tracking requests. The Contractors on-site response time to TTUHSC must be within four (4) hours for emergency calls/requests and no later than the next business day for non-emergency calls/requests. Requested maintenance, calibration, or non-critical repairs may be scheduled as agreed to by the requesting TTUHSC department. Failure to meet the required response time will be recorded by the requesting department. Repeated failure to meet the response requirement may result in termination of the contract due to unsatisfactory performance. C. Shipping/freight charges for repair or maintenance parts will be authorized in the agreement.RFP 739-24285652 Page 13 of 30 D. Services related to repair performed by Contractor must meet or exceed established industry standards and Services related to maintenance must meet or exceed manufacturer requirements. E. Service times are considered as follows for billing purposes: Standard (Non-Overtime) Hours: Between 8:00am and 5:00pm local time Monday thru Friday. Overtime Hours: Between 5:01pm and 7:59am local time Monday thru Friday and all day Saturday. Holiday Hours: All day Sunday and designated TTUHSC Holidays. The following are the only approved TTUHSC Holidays and will be allowed to be billed as such: 1. New Years Day 2. Memorial Day 3. July 4th 4. Labor Day 5. Thanksgiving Day 6. Christmas Day Note: Holidays on Saturdays are observed on the previous Friday. Holidays on Sunday are observed on the following Monday.
