Bexar County Facilities Management (BCFM) is seeking bids from contractors to renovate a portion of Tejeda Juvenile Justice Center Court to accommodate a third courtroom suite and supporting office space. The renovated area is approximately 10,880 square feet. Alternate 1: is to furnish and install ballistic/security film at the new glazing in the new offices exposed along the public parking lot. Alternate 2: is to furnish and install materials to replace the existing carpet in office suites approximately 8200 square feet, including moving furniture. Existing wall base to remain. The scope consist of the following trades, but not limited to: site work and improvements, site utilities, selective demolition, concrete paving, masonry, metal framing, structural steel/ metal deck, carpentry & millwork, roofing, thermal moisture protection, doors and windows, flooring, painting, modifying existing systems, for example, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, adding new information technology, security, audio visual, among other trades to support the new work .
