This project consists of outdated distribution panelboard, main panel, and safety switch upgrades at Austin, TX (AUS) Station to enhance Amtrak’s assets, provide positive customer service and experience, and improve safety and security for customers and Amtrak employees. The scope of work for this project consists of: • Coordination, materials, installation and testing to replace three outdated electrical components. Parts are no longer available and has reach the end of life. • Contractor must assess current needs and properly sized panels, connecting/sizing breakers for all circuits, installing must be to code • Contractor must inspect existing wiring for compatibility and code issues • Replace Main panel – appendix A • Replace Distribution panel – appendix B • Replace Safety switch – appendix C
