The successful proposer shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to deliver hot-mix asphalt (HMA) and related materials in accordance with the City’s requirements. 2.1 Materials • Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) meeting current TxDOT Standard Specifications for Type D, Type B, and surface mixes as requested. • Additional asphalt products (e.g., tack coat, cold mix, recycled asphalt product) as specified in task orders. • All materials shall conform to applicable TxDOT, ASTM, and AASHTO standards. 2.2 Delivery Requirements • Asphalt must be delivered to designated City work sites within Santa Fe city limits. • Typical delivery locations include, but are not limited to: City streets, drainage facilities, and Public Works projects. • Delivery hours shall be coordinated with the Public Works Department; timely delivery to match paving operations is required. • Trucks must be equipped with tarps and suitable equipment to maintain proper material temperature. • Vendor shall guarantee delivery free of segregation, contamination, or excessive temperature loss. 2.3 Quantities • The City guarantees a minimum purchase of 15 tons per order. • Orders will be placed on an as-needed, task order basis throughout the fiscal year. • Estimated total annual tonnage: 100
