The required services to be provided are as-needed glass and window maintenance, repair, and replacement services at EPSSLC. Services shall include but not be limited to maintenance, inspection, repair, replacement and testing of building and door windows. All services shall be performed in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and all applicable local and state codes. Window material may include: 1. Flat glass 2. Plexiglass 3. Spandrel glass 4. Laminated glass 5. Polycarbonate 6. Security glass 7. Wire mesh glass 8. Insulated glass and thermopane Repair and or replacement services shall be completed within five (5) business days of service request, unless identified as an emergency by the facility. Contractor shall provide a temporary replacement of approved material to seal a window in the event a window is damaged, and the Contractor cannot repair within twenty-four (24) hours of request. Contractor shall provide optimum efficiency and safety of window replacement. Contractor shall provide to facility representative for approval an itemized pricing estimate for each service request prior to performing any work, except during an emergency, as determined by the Agency. Contractor is required to obtain authorization from the facility designee prior to performing any services that necessitate disruption in the facility’s building system, except in emergency situations as identified by the EPSSLC. Parts used and installed under this SOW shall be the latest improved models in production, as offered to the commercial trade, and shall be quality material. Used, shopworn, demonstrator, prototype, recondition or discontinued models or material are not acceptable.
