Specifications include, but are not limited to: Property (i.e., currency, coins, checks in locked bags) is to be picked up on a once a day schedule. Deposit is approximately 85% checks and 15% cash Monday through Friday pick-ups are to be between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. There will be no pickups on Saturdays, Sundays or eight City of Irving holidays. City of Irving holidays include: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Day. If City offices are open on a bank holiday, deposits will be held in a secured location by the contractor until the next bank business day. Delivery is to be made to depository bank no later than 2:00 p.m. on the same day, in order to receive same day deposit credit. Same day delivery is defined by the City of Irving as the armored car service picking up bags on day one and depositing on day one. Delivery is to be made to the City of Irving depository institution or alternate location designated by the City of Irving depository institution. The current City of Irving depository is Bank of America. The delivery vault is located at 6777 Oakbrook, Dallas, TX 75235.
