Specifications include, but are not limited to: 7-week season, with playoffs at end of season. Two sessions totaling 14-weeks. Winter 2021 had 115 teams registered. Two levels of play offered by the City: o Division 1 – Competitive games, no playing time requirements for players. Designed to prepare young men and women to play at the next level (ex. Middle school/high school). Division 1 is primarily a boy’s classification due to low numbers in the girls’ divisions. o Division 2 – Recreation games. Participation requirements for all players to play in the game. Designed to promote the development of young men and women in our community. Both boy’s and girl’s levels offered for Division 2. 6U co-ed falls under D2 as well. Rules follow UIL and NFHS rule book for play, along with City specific rules regarding substitution for Division 2. The city spent $29,494 on officials for the 2021 Winter session.
