Trash Removal and Disposal: • Respondent must comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, ordinances and codes. • Respondent is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licenses and permits required to perform the services described in this solicitation, in accordance with the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction where the services are to be provided. • Respondent shall use equipment and products (dumpsters, roll-offs, compactors, etc…) that meet or exceed the specifications included herein. • Respondent shall perform services in strict accordance with the Trash Removal and Disposal Pricing and Delivery Proposal Schedule (Attachment A), without deviation or exception. • Respondent shall invoice University on a monthly basis. Per State Law, University cannot pay for goods/services prior to receiving the goods/services. • Respondent shall furnish University with the names and contact telephone numbers of the individuals who may be reached in the event of an emergency or when services are required outside of normal business hours. • Respondent shall maintain adequate equipment and staffing levels to ensure uninterrupted service, including in instances of equipment failure or employee absenteeism. Failure to perform the contracted services will result in a prorated deduction from the monthly invoice, based on the number of containers not serviced on the designated day. Furthermore, the University reserves the right to deduct from the monthly invoice any cost it incurs in collecting and disposing of waste resulting from the Respondent’s failure to provide contracted services. Such deductions will include all labor and landfill fees, with labor charges limited to direct costs calculated at the internal rates applied to University departments. Dumpster Specifications: • Containers must be maintained in good condition, free from significant damage or missing components and must be fully painted either in a single, uniform color or in the Respondent’s standard paint scheme. • Containers shall be supplied in the sizes and at the frequency specified in the Trash Removal and Disposal Pricing and Delivery Proposal Schedule (Attachment A) • Containers shall be cleaned and deodorized in the months of December and May during each year of the contract term. These cleaning activities must be performed without any interruption to the contracted services. Accordingly, the University shall be notified in advance to ensure proper coordination of the cleaning schedule
