1. Service: Vat/clean all parts. 2. New and Used Replacement Parts: All clutches, steels, and gaskets shall be replaced. Additional replacement parts, on an as-needed basis, shall include bushings, solenoids, switches, and wiring harnesses. Torque converters may be replaced with new or rebuilt units. 3. Assemblies: All assemblies shall be completely dissembled, cleaned, pre-oiled, painted and assembled with all replacement parts as indicated in Item 2. In addition, assemblies shall include all installation accessories, including but not limited to Power Take-off Unit, Park Brake Unit and Plumbing for installation by City of Mesquite personnel. 4. Cores: Cores will be provided by the City. If the transmission is determined to be unrepairable, additional core charges may apply or an alternate core provided at the City’s discretion. 5. Additional Requirements: a) At the City’s discretion, the contractor will apply the hourly rate to remove and install any rebuilt units, on an as-needed basis. b) Any out-of-state contractor shall have all work performed locally, and in accordance with this Specification.
