ROOM CLEANING All office areas, reception and drafting rooms, break rooms and hallways as indicated herein shall receive the following cleaning each service day: FACILITIES MAINTENANCE OFFICES - approximately 2,162 sq. ft.: approx. 1,745 sq. ft. carpet and approx. 417 sq. ft. vinyl tile 1.1 Waste baskets shall be emptied and all wastepaper and trash removed to main disposal areas as designated by the Facilities Maintenance personnel. Exterior of waste basket shall be wiped clean. Where wastebaskets have plastic liners, the liners shall be replaced only when necessary. If a liner is not contaminated with food, the liner will remain in use. 1.2 All horizontal exposed surfaces (desks, table tops, chair seats and cabinets, etc.) without papers, files, or books shall be dusted with a treated dust cloth. Papers, files, and books shall not be disturbed. 1.3 Drinking fountains shall be drained and cleaned by washing the bowl with a neutral soap solution. The remainder of the fountain or cabinet will be wiped with a clean cloth. 1.4 Remove all spider webs. 1.5 Windows in entry ways, doors, and reception areas shall be cleaned with window cleaner.
