Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Waco Independent School District will be accepting bid responses for vendors which can provide alarm monitoring services for the District. There are a total of sixty-six (66) fire and security panels at 34 District locations. • Provide monitoring service of existing alarm systems and any that may be added. Existing alarm systems owned by Waco ISD are currently using Bosch for security and Silent Knight for Fire. Fire Alarm Systems utilize cellular communicators as comm1, with an analog phone line as backup on comm2. • Central Station must be U.L. Certified. • Must have at least a D6500 Bosch/Silent Knight Receiver capable of receiving cellular and analog signals. Must also have a receiver capable of receiving Ademco Contact ID for Security and SIA Contact ID for Fire. • Monitoring systems must be capable of monitoring alarms by zone/point and restoring by zone/point. • The proposal shall include any equipment modifications/replacements to include leased phone lines as required to meet the State of Texas Fire Code for monitoring fire alarms. • Waco ISD personnel must be able to meet with qualified technical personnel on any problems 24 hours a day with almost immediate response. • The Central Receiving Station shall be able to download and upload the Bosch/Silent Knight system with responsible personnel on duty who can perform the necessary operations. • Monitoring systems shall monitor up to thirty-four (34) user codes/names per campus for open/close actions. In addition, Police and Maintenance departments must have access to search, view, and print pertinent alarm information, through computer access, in real time.
