Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Coordinated Response to Domestic Violence in a Healthcare Setting RFP, seeks to increaseidentification of survivors of domestic violence (DV) in a healthcare setting and provide funding forservices and ongoing support, to better enhance their safety and long-term outcomes. Collaborationbetween agencies serving domestic violence survivors and healthcare centers is instrumental insupporting survivor health and promoting safety in a coordinated way. DFSS is seeking respondentswith experience in providing trauma-informed, culturally competent services that are survivor-centered and delivered by staff that are qualified and trained to provide services to the focuspopulations they intend to serve. Federally qualified healthcare centers (FQHC), and safety-nethospitals serving patients coming from community areas with high rates of domestic violence arealso invited to apply. Respondents are responsible for securing a Memorandum of Understanding,(MOU) or other formal agreement, with either a service agency, if applying as the FQHC or hospital,or with an FQHC or hospital if applying as the service agency. The MOU or other formal agreementmust be including as part of their application. The MOUs or formal linkage agreements must includea pathway for the FQHC or hospital to receive education and training from the respondent and allowfor the referral for medical or mental health services to the survivor served
