Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Government of the District of Columbia, Office of Contracting and Procurement, on behalf of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Services (the District) is seeking a Policy Consultant.The Policy Consultant shall perform professional administrative as well as program policy advisory duties and report to the Senior Policy Advisor. The responsibilities may be related to a (1) a combination of the internal operation of an organization, (such as project planning, budget development, assist with securing federal grant dollars, policy and procedures, program implementation procedures, communications, etc.); or (2) administrative matters which cross agency or governmental lines (such as liaison between District agencies to foster inter-agency coordination of emergency preparedness priorities, provide meeting support for the Emergency PreparednessCouncil and the ESF); or (3) administrative policy consultation provided in matters of high visibility and complexity
