Specifications include, but are not limited to: The DFW Airport Board intends to procure Access Control Management System (ACMS) software and integration services provided and coordinated by the software manufacturer to automate and integrate the Department of Public Safety Access Control Office (ACO) databases, business processes, and to enforce compliance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations pertaining to security identification media. The successful Proposer for this Request For Proposal (RFP) shall provide a secure, centralized and integrated software application to function as the primary interface for the DFW Airport Board for all credentialing and asset management functions. This will enhance the overall capabilities of the ACO by providing secure integration between several disparate systems currently utilized as part of the badging process, reduce the data entry required by personnel in the ACO, provide a secure paperless system for badge applications that will include facets such as a secure web portal for badge applicant data entry, and provide workflow management and business rule enforcement for all of the regulatory compliance as required by the TSA and as required for the Airport Security Program (ASP). The successful Proposer shall also provide new badging equipment and a hardware and software maintenance program for the post-warranty period that includes response times for onsite repair of ACO badging equipment and software fixes, on-site assistance on a per year basis, and pricing for an hourly rate to be used for programming changes for possible future integration services.
