The University of Houston system ERP is PeopleSoft 9.1 (soon to move to 9.2, ETA December 2021), and will continue to make improvements or system upgrades over time. Vendor/supplier setup for the UH System is consolidated to one group on the UH campus. Vendors must use PaymentWorks to provide their business and tax information. Reimbursees are also setup using this system. UHS is currently in Phase 1 of PaymentWorks, where personnel must data enter information into the ERP. In 2022, we expect to proceed into Phase 2, where PaymentWorks information is uploaded into PeopleSoft directly upon approval by personnel. The master vendor file is housed entirely in PeopleSoft. Updates to the vendor system are also made by the vendor through PaymentWorks, validated by PaymentWorks, and are updated in PeopleSoft upon acceptance by UHS personnel.
