Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Edwards Aquifer Authority ("EAA") requests statements of interest and qualifications ("RFQ") from qualified and certified contractors ("Service Providers") to submit statements of interest and qualifications ("SOQ") for services related to closing abandoned Edwards Aquifer water wells. Resulting contract(s) for water well closure services will be for one (1) year with an EAA option to renew for two (2) additional one year renewals. In select circumstances, the EAA will need to contract with a Texas licensed driller or pump installer to close (plug) an abandoned Edwards Aquifer water well. This RFQ will initiate the selection process whereby a group of Service Providers will be pre-qualified to perform water well closure services within the jurisdictional boundary of the EAA, including all or portions of Atascosa, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Hays, Medina, and Uvalde counties.
