Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Attaining the lowest possible participant cost for the requested products and services with no front end or back-end loads, contingent deferred sales charges, market value adjustments or other surrender-related penalties on either a group or an individual basis. • Offering efficient onsite service solutions focusing on the City’s unique demands. • Providing effective participant education, enrollment, and other plan-related services from noncommissioned representatives, both onsite and virtual. • Improving education with a focus on, but not limited to: retirement readiness, asset retention and improved plan participation. • Providing robust mobile and online transaction and information capabilities while protecting participant data with industry-leading cybersecurity technology. • Evaluating the record keeper’s ability to efficiently offer alternative Plan types (e.g., 401(a), HRA) upon request, and integrating the City’s unique Defined Benefit Plans data into the overall participant experience where possible.
