Facilities operations, maintenance and the transportation departments, encompass a broad spectrum of services, competencies, processes, and tools. These departments are required to assure the built environment will perform the functions for which a facility or vehicle was designed and constructed. Operations and maintenance typically include the day-to-day activities necessary for the building/built structure, its systems and equipment, and occupants/users to perform their intended function. For the purposes of this solicitation, Frisco ISD is soliciting vendors whose primary commodity would lie in the following categories: (The following list of commodity areas may not be all inclusive.) ** FISD Purchasing Department at its sole discretion is authorized to determine if a vendor is responsive and/or within the scope of this solicitation. 1. General Building Maintenance Services & Supplies (Examples include: restoration companies, pressure washing vendors, brick and stone graffiti and mold removal, fencing vendors, telescopic bleacher repair & parts, parking lot striping, technology items that directly facilitate the repair, upkeep or functionality of vehicles or facilities.) 2. Transportation & Fleet Services/Vehicle Maintenance/Vehicle and Bus Supplies & Parts (such as car dealerships, car wash companies, towing services, vehicle salvage yards or stores, vehicle parts and supplies.) 3. Concrete & Sidewalk Repairs 4. Waste Disposal, Reduction and Recycling 5. Risk Management Services & Supplies 6. Moving Companies & Warehousing Services 7. Painting, Mural & Carpeting Services 8. Other Operations-- deemed necessary to meet the needs of the District
