Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Boerne Parks & Recreation Department annually creates a Guidebook. This book’s purpose is informing our residents about the year-round community education classes, recreational programs, and special events opportunities, as well as providing information on recreation spaces including parks, athletic facilities, playgrounds, and trails. The Boerne Parks & Recreation Department is seeking proposals from interested Publisher/Editing/Printing/Mailing Company that are capable of providing professional quality work. • Produce and print 8,200 copies of the full color glossy approximately 75-80 page book plus cover art. Book will include but not limited to text, illustrations, photo illustrations, and infographics. (Include unit price per page for add/subtracts.) • Provide new Rex (mascot) vectors that will be used throughout the book and for promotional purposes. The department is looking for new graphics and general designs to be used throughout the year. • Provide multiple cover options for staff consideration (min. 4). • Provide a duplicate online interactive version for the City’s website without additional advertising. • A professional photographer to take staff pictures and necessary facility pictures. • Meet at least twice with Parks & Recreation staff to review progress and discuss edits throughout the process. • Two official review/revision sessions of completed product before sending to print. • Book includes ads which may need to be created for advertisers. Provide a cost for designing of ad.
