Description

The Rockwall County Commissioners Court is seeking Statements of Qualifications for comprehensive employee insurance benefits broker services.

Rockwall County budgets for 359 full time, benefits-eligible employees with approximately 315 members currently on the County’s comprehensive healthcare program. United HealthCare Services, Inc. (“UHC”) and Rockwall County’s service agreement was enacted January 1, 2023, for use with the County’s self-funded employee benefit plan.

It is the intent of the Rockwall County (“County”) to award a benefits insurance broker service agreement for a one-year term beginning October 1st, 2023 and ending September 30, 2024. Rockwall County intends to include in the contract a right to automatically extend the term of the contract for additional one-year terms provided such extensions are in the best interest of the County.
