Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of this Invitation To Bid to solicit bids for the removal and disposal of the existing Built-up Hot Asphalt (Tar) and Gravel Roof System (2 roof layers) and the installation of a new Roof System (Built-up Hot Asphalt (Tar) and Gravel) at the Department of Human Services Building. The Building is located at 2406 Southwest Sixth Street in Amarillo, TX. 79106. The roof to be replaced encompasses a total of 14,346 square feet of built-up tar and gravel. The County anticipates removal of the existing roof and installation of the new roof during July of 2007. All bidders and their sub-contractors are advised, and encouraged, to participate in the pre-bid conference to facilitate inspection of the roof prior to submitting bid.
